Step 1. Setting Your Vision
In today’s action step I’m going to walk you through a powerful vision-setting exercise that all of our clients complete before they start working with us.
We believe it’s the most important step in the transformation process (and we'll unpack precisely why this is so powerful in Lesson 5 of the course.)
For now, just focus on completing the exercise below and making this future vision as vivid as you possibly can in your mind.
Ready? Here we go…
Find a quiet spot and get comfortable.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
Let all tension melt away with each exhale (pay attention to relaxing your shoulders, eyelids and jaw.
Now, picture yourself sitting at home in 1 years time.
Breathe in the familiar scents, feel the textures around you, make it real in your mind.
Now imagine there’s a knock at the door.
It's your best friend, someone who's been with you through it all over the years.
They're smiling, genuinely happy to see you.
As you walk back through the house to sit down and catch up, your friend looks over and notices a photoframe with your picture in it.
They pick it up - taking a double take.
It's a photo of you, from a few months ago, at a photoshoot. A photoshoot you did to celebrate your transformation journey.
Imagine your friend looking at you, a mix of admiration and surprise in her eyes. "Wow - you look amazing. What was the process like? It must have been super intense."
You sit there feeling proud of what you've achieved, but calm, and relaxed.
This is where the power of this exercise comes in.
You tell your friend, "You know, it actually wasn’t. It was so simple. In fact, I've made even more progress since that photo was taken. That was 6 months ago."
Imagine your friend's eyes widen in surprise:
"Really? It looks like it would have been so hard to achieve."
Imagine yourself sitting there, smiling with your friend, feeling that sense of accomplishment deepen, and the confidence wash over you because of everything you've achieved and the journey you've been on.
"That's the beauty of it. Once I focused on the right system and the right mindset work, it all fell into place. It was no longer a battle. It's just become a part of who I am."
Feel the strength in your body saying this statement.
Imagine looking across at a mirror in your house and seeing the way your clothes fit, how you hold yourself, that confident image of yourself staring back at you.
Picture not not just the way you look - but also the energy and vitality you radiate.
Now pause this visualisation and focus on the FEELING of this moment.
Really put yourself in this scene.
Feel the sense of pride growing in your chest.
Let it fill you up.
Experience that deep sense of accomplishment, and deep confidence that comes from achieving your goal and making it your new normal.
Let it wash over you.
This future vision isn't a ‘dream’.
It's your future.
It's WHO you are going to become.
You don't need to figure out all the steps right now. Just fully embrace this vision. Accept it as your future. Assume that it will happen.
Feel the quiet certainty of it.
No doubts, no questions.
This is your path.
As you open your eyes and come back to the present, hold onto that feeling. That confidence. That certainty.
This is the vision to hold throughout your journey.
At every training session, every meal, and every night before you fall asleep.
Imagine this future conversation and how you feel.
Remember, we'll dive into exactly why this exercise is so impactful in Lesson 5 of the course.
But for now, just practice making this vision as clear as possible. Revisit it daily.
Feel it. Live it. Breathe it.
